Our landmark Inn is undergoing a multi-million dollar transformation which represents a return to colonial style and a richly realized vision of unparalleled elegance. During this restoration we invite you to be our guest, and to experience our always exemplary guest service while this rebirth takes place largely behind the scenes.
Be among the first visitors to discover the new Bantam Bistro, and Executive Chef William Schwalm. Opened in October of 2011, this transformed space has already created quite a buzz in Litchfield, but the rave reviews about the new design pale in comparison to what guests are saying about the Bantam Bistro’s unforgettable new menu.
The Inn’s freshly restored lobby is a crowning example of colonial architecture. The intricate nine-foot chandelier and ornate spiral staircase are just two of the highlights.
Renovations to our thirty-two guest rooms and suites will be completed in 2013. You’ll also find that all of our renovated guest rooms feature every modern convenience you would expect. The most luxurious high-thread count linens, Aroma Therapy bath amenities, 37-inch flat screen televisions, and complimentary internet access.
More big plans are just over the horizon – none more exciting than a spa featuring a full range of salon services, Gilchrist and Soames spa products, an indoor pool, fitness center and tennis courts. Our courtyard will be experiencing a renewal as well, with refreshed landscaping, gardens, and walking trails that will serve as the perfect backdrop for romantic summer strolls, and photographs that you’ll treasure forever. And don’t forget our elegant ballroom, which accommodates 150 guests for weddings, receptions, corporate meetings and reunions.
Through all of these changes we assure you our hospitality remains the same, and we invite you to be our guest for an unforgettable experience.
