The landmark Litchfield Inn is undergoing a multi-million dollar rebirth which will reveal a destination of unparalleled elegance. And the best part is we are open during the entire renovation process striving to provide top-notch service to our guests. Most of the renovations are happening behind the scenes.

The first renovation to take place was the restaurant and we are proud to present the Brand New, ‘Bantam Bistro’ at the Litchfield Inn. The restaurant opened on October 27, 2011 to great feedback from our patrons and has created quite a buzz in Litchfield. The guests are amazed at the transformation of the space but the food is what we are getting rave reviews on! See the restaurant tab for more information.

The lobby is also newly renovated. We’ve maintained the authentic colonial architecture, kept the nine-foot chandelier and the delicately carved main staircase so we don’t lose the charm or the character of the iconic Litchfield Inn.

Renovations are underway for our 32 guest rooms and suites. We expect to have them ready in 2012. We are elated to have aligned with Ethan Allen on the redesign of our 12 themed suites. You can expect to find all modern amenities, including bath amenities from Gilchrest and Soames, luxurious bed and bath linens, 37 inch flat screen TV’s and free internet access.

Many other items are on the list for 2012. The Ballroom will be expanded to accommodate up to 250 guests from its current capacity of 150. The perfect choice for small events ranging from corporate meetings to social events including weddings, receptions and fund raisers.

Our elegantly landscaped gardens will feature walking paths, lush botanical flower beds providing a perfect setting for romantic strolls and unforgettable pictures.

Our most anticipated new addition for 2012 will be the unveiling of our grand 8000 square foot spa featuring an indoor pool, fitness center and full salon facilities. Two outdoor tennis courts will also be added.
